Integer solutions of $Y^3=X^2+k$
Abstract: Diophantus, Fermat, Euler worked on finding integer solutions of $Y^3=X^2+2$. Using unique factorizatipn property, we find all integer solutions of $Y^3=X^2+2$ and discuss the obstruction for other values of $k$.
